I'm not going to lie, yeah it bothered me - even made me a bit mad. I simply didn't understand it, it seemed like a clearly lateral move - only you were trading people you had played with for months or more for people you didn't even know.

We lost a very good warlock, the best damn terrain sploit climber I have ever seen and someone I respect. But, I cannot begin to say I feel as strongly as the people that have played with you since well before your Defiant days may feel, but I have played with you for quite a while.

That said, it is now more clear. I suspected when I heard that it might be related to burn out, there comes a point where a passtime stops being fun and that's when it is time to quit.

My one regret from all of this is that your clarity did not come 24 hours prior, and you were able to retire with the Alpha tag over your head. That would have made a world of difference in the reaction.

You will be missed.

But...I thought real life was the best place ever. Better than college. Better than WoW. A utopia of all the pleasures and satisfaction one could hope for in a lifetime!
