View Full Version : golf and vicodin
It's a winning combination. I think I need to do it more often.
Anyone else hopelessly addicted to golf? I used to hate it, now I spend hundreds a year on it.

I spend $0 on it, but I enjoy it.

Golf ... the only sport where it is considered bad form to not drink a beer while you play. You also score better for doing less than the next guy.
How could you not like it?

Because they frown on you bringing your own beer in? Golf beer is expensive.
A couple of guys I used to work with started their own company making stuff that looked like golf bags but were actually coolers and the like to take your own stuff in.
i should respond because i live on a golf course and i am currently under meds... but i dont know what to say

Who pays for your tee times? Hook a honkey up.

I picked up golf for a while as a form of physical therapy after my wrist reconstruction. So I've done Golf on Oxycontin, Golf on Percoset, Golf on Vicodin...
I'm missing some integral bones in my wrist, though, so I'll never be any good, sadly.

I have a friend that works at 2 golf courses so I get free range balls in exchange for making the course marshals laugh at my pro skills.
Golf is incredibly wonderful ... it gives me entire Saturday mornings to myself and amazing leverage.
