That damned Baron's Mount dropped for me. Farmed that on my druid and never saw it. Blizz ups drop rate, still wouldn't drop. Last night I decided for shits and giggles to go kill Baron. I love RNG.

It's funny, I had killed the bugger a few hundred times all told.

The first time I killed him in Wrath, the mount dropped. I've got the Strath achievement and the mount achievement on the same day. >_>

Last winter I ran that place 48 times in 4 or 5 days, that's when I gave up. Now that it's dropped I'm shooting for the ZG tiger and the horse from Kara. It gives me something to do when I'm sick of leveling Horde side. :cool:

Ya, I kept a count, 27 runs to get the hawkstrider for me, 71 for Baron, 48 for Anzu, 26 for the raptor, 29 for the tiger....I got a stroke of good luck and the top roll on the first 3 drake 10 man, and bought the winning roll from a guildy in 25 man 3d. Sometimes it's all about making your own luck. Still haven't seen the Kara mount drop on my warrior, but got it on an alt run waaaaay back on my rogue...I'm pretty sure there's some pissed off people still to this day about a certain scarab lord winning *that*.

Had Baron drop his sword before. Gave it to a bigger paladin geek, especially since he was 58 at the time and we were running him through for quests.

I've seen the Kara mount once, some alt won it. I never saw that person on that character after that. I swore at that moment I heard Nelson Munch "Ha Ha" most of the raid.
