Well, he cant really say anything on the forums because both of his accounts are banned. (Realm realm forums). For all purposes consider me the voice of Contrast.

The only boasting thing Contrast ever did was in our first recruitment thread when we stated one of our goals to get would be 3.2 world firsts. A point some didnt want to say but I insisted that it stay in it. My terms of coming here were complicated otherwise I would of done it myself, trolls ran free and whatnot because of it instead of me being able to reply.

I dislike whats transpired thus far when it comes to guild relashionships, going to be around tonight? We're doing IC hard work atm, and maybe alg 10 after. Lets chat after via vent to go over stuff in more detail after that?

I do not intend on making posts in the same manner as I did before. You banned Wrisca, which is your prerogative and understandable. I would like to ask that I can remain as Akraen for when matters must be addressed.

I am the GM of < Contrast > and I do publicly denounce the behavior on the Ysera realm forums hosted by Blizzard. I do not condone trolling of Alpha or any other guild on this realm. I do not find it funny or remotely appropriate. This is 100% correct. Our policy was similar on the old realm when we hosted the "Off-Realm" forums. Very lax on rules, but there were certain people I did not even allow to register for obvious reasons.

You may not have spoken to me personally about coming back, but I'm pretty sure you could read our forums and had several other soon to be re-patrioted Alpha members to chat with over there. I'm sure you knew their plans.

The last person I knew who had unrealistic goals and forced them upon his guildies woke up one day to see that all of his top players had transferred off server to escape his psychosis and actually join a top guild. So I highly recommend that you abandon these pipe dreams of yours.

We chose our family due to a new baby on the way and a son who was getting older and had lots of activities he was now able and wanted to do.

You simply do not understand dedication. Anoon and I had 99.999% attendance rate all the way back to Defiant's very first raid. The only raids we missed in Alpha were a one week trip to Disney World. Farm, progression, off night, 10 man, 5 man it didn't matter, we were there for our guildmates. Once we were unable to contribute at that level we walked away. We didn't ask for a sabbatical, or to turn "casual" or even to remain on the roster. If we could not give 100% we were not going to take up a member slot, nor demand one back when it suited us.

I returned for one month last year on a personal favor and out of loyalty to Wylan. He was afraid of a dip in healer attendance during Sunwell farming (hmm, who could that be?). During that month I was online and available for the start of every single scheduled and off night raid (Wylan had my phone number if I was needed mid-raid) and was only part of a raid for a single Sunwell boss and half of a paid Black Temple run. So I returned to retirement and am happy with that.

Dedication means you do not schedule your reliability to coincide with your own personal agenda. No one likes to farm the same boss for the 30th time to get loot that will probably be disenchanted. But while you were off PvPing and hanging out with friends, the rest of us were preparing the guild for the next big challenge. A team player doesn't just show up for the playoffs.

Protip: If you want Wylan to stop picking on you, stop making obvious Alpha troll posts by sucking Midwinter's balls. Judging from their response, even they think it is kind of creepy.

I would say the same about me, when I knew that I couldn't give 100% or dedicate full raid time with a baby on the way, it was time to pack it up. I didn't want to quit at that time, things were starting to go quite well but it needed to be done.

Sounds to me like you just needed to realize you didn't have the time to commit and be done with it.

I'm glad Dernus came back cause he IS a ton better. Flakes are flakey, and fake dc when they run out of ankhs.
