View Full Version : 31 Bosses...
Oh yes...when all else fails, quantity > quality.
I don't know that I would say we want tanking niches. I ultimately am agreeing with what you're saying, but once we say "tanking niches" players have visions of the DK who parks outside of Icecrown until boss 4, 17 and 31 (yes, IC is that big). Seeing as how I will more than likely never see an inch of it other than SS's, I really hope for the rest of you they have been working on each boss since Wrath began...

My prediction:
There will be 30 combinations of the dozens of boss abilities we've seen thus far.
You will still want to take melee to 27 of the fights over casters with 4 token lol stand in this shit far away so it makes you hit astronomically harder fights.
5 fights will contain vehichles.
This is seperate from the 3 jousting bosses of which will include Arthas.
Fan of knives will still do more dmg then some classes combined.
Killing Arthas will yield 3x as many top tier badges as heroic Utgarde Keep.
People will still complain that they don't get enough gear to stay interested.
A new 5 man will be introduced that drops 1 epic item per party member at ilvl 239.
Maybe higher.
Facerolling Beast Mastery will be top hunter DPS once again when Arthas rolls around.
One boss will be Ragnaros, Nefarian, C'thun, Kel'Thuzad, Kil'Jaeden, and Yogg Saron combined. RagnefC'thuzjaeron.
Id almost bet money (if I had any) that at least 2 bosses will be in the same room. One boss fight will incorporate a falling ceiling/floor/walls/chandeliers. One will be in a circular room and frozen to the floor (imagine KJ in ice). Oh, and Arthas WILL have a vehicle section.
Cant wait to bump this in a few months and see how right/wrong I am..
If they actually deliver 31 (or even 20ish) high quality bosses I will be impressed. If they deliver 20 loot pinata bosses, 5 moderately challenging fights, and 6 quality fights, I will be less impressed. It all depends on the breakdown really...but shooting for 31 bosses sounds suspiciously like they'd be delivering quantity at the expense of quality.
And I kind of think Arthas might stray away from vehicles and to whatever the next expansion's gimmicky thing will be...but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I was the person who set the original Kill Yogg achievement to 22 minutes too. Just sayin'.
Q u o t e:
Magister's Terrace was merely a setback!
Heck, the IC trash is mostly Kael pulls. Different long speech for each one too.

Undead dragon who has melded with yogg. Has tentacles that act like seperate mobs. swaps back and forth from fire to ice attacks. either ice blocks a bunch of people or puts fire breath on the ground to dance around. flies in the air like felmyst but randomly shoots someone with a laser and if theyre not looking away they die. each tentacle has an eye beam that is moving differently than the other tentacle and they cause everyone to have to constantly move, but if their deaths arent timed perfectly, the eye beams obscure the only place to stand in to avoid darkness of a thousand souls.
imo.
