Inspired by the famed "Casual Converstaions" thread, I thought we would start a new one with little nuggets of joy from all the wonderful players we encounter in World of Warcraft while taking advantage of the new cross server dungeon feature.

I'll kick it off with a little excerpt from a 80 minute long Old Kingdom I did today on my shaman.

So I start tricksing the tank mobs once everyone is zoned in and he's like "WAIT WAIT BRO I GOTTA SWITCH SPECS". Mind you, he's some bad feral druid in (bad, unenchanted, and ungemmed) tank gear, just with, I suppose, 5/5 ferocious bite instead of some stupid tank talent. I think we'll live. It's just Oculus and I kill the mobs in about 12 seconds.

Then on packs where tricks is down, I pull aggro on the first single-target hit. I switch to a different mob, I pull aggro on it too, with the first still beating on me. Then I switch to a third... and, well, you get the idea.

We then manage to finish Oculus in 14 minutes because it's so incredibly nerfed. The bad tank took a ruby drake, of course. He dies in about the first 15 seconds, before the first enrage even... lol. Luckily someone else had taken a ruby drake. He was told before the fight that he should take Bronze.

So this is what happened after we killed the boss, nice short and sweet.

To understand the first screenshot, understand that I'm level 72 in a group with a max level of 75:

Due to a lot of bad things happening (1st tank waited like 5 minutes between pulls and ran around in circles instead of pulling, DPS AFK'd, 2nd tank insisted that the Mage sheep 1 Mob every pull of Utgarde Keep, etc.) we end up kicking 3 people, and one person drops of their own accord. The replacement DPS we get immediately goes AFK upon entering the instance. We then realize that we have a problem:

Apparently, there's a limit to the number of people you can vote kick from an instance.

i'm actually kinda disappointed, i havent had any bad groups so far. i mean of course i've seen some doing doing less dps than they should, but no acts of retardation and no stupidity in party chat. i want to crush the bads, see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

There are bads all around. I find most of mine leveling though I ran into some really bad druid last night doing the random with Sylv.

Nice thread, I need to start getting some screenshots. I've had pretty good luck so far. My 74 priest has taken the brunt of the punishment with the terribles. I think lawn ornaments could do a better job at this game sometimes.

So...this was a gem we ran into yesterday. Sylv, Terra, and I ran H UP with some baddie priest (who's geared yo) and some warrior bad who was doing as much dps as his IQ+AGE+Shoe size...give or take 3. I had to use bark skin, frenzied regen and last stand on a trash pack when I get to 3k hp. We decided we were going to kick this bad if it took 15 minutes to do the zone. It took 15 minutes exactly.

Before we got to what's his name, we were doing the guy with the harpoon shit that whirl winds...and the baddie just stands there next to the boss...who then proceeds to whirl wind him down. His reason: He was typing a rebuttle to our accusation of him being bad.

The defense rests...baddie.

So...I log onto Census today to do muh dailiy and get this gem in the mail.

Yeah...we kicked him right before the final boss pull. It was glorious. It was particularly gloriou because we broke him down to nerd rage.

And yes...you're bad. As Ghostcrawler said "Druid's can't dodge no more". I will try and hit my dodge key harder the next time I'm praying for any kind of heal other then my own to land. ilvl 245 geared tanks are very tough to keep up in 5 mans I hear.

The best part was that the pug warrior decided to kick him also and then some other priest joined before we killed the boss and got free badges. I'm disappointed that I didn't get an angry letter since I was the one to suggest kicking him and the one to initiate the vote.

So, our issues started out when the warrior tank told us that he didn't want us to AoE any of the mobs because "I'm not good at multi-target threat." I made him aware of the fact that he was bad.

Then, there was our resto shaman, who went the entire instance without casting a spell other than Lesser Healing Wave and Earth Shield.

Then he went OOM, and wanted to hearth out and get a mana potion. But... he didn't grasp that Innervate wasn't an item.

Then we wiped to the last boss, and healer insists that if we would have let him hearth to get his potions we'd have been fine.

theres a difference between ignorance/stupidity and just being new and not knowing. problem is its almost always the former. if i run into people who suck, but are willing to learn, i'll help. you rarely see that though. they always have excuses or blame something else. its an arrogance that they cant be wrong and its never their fault. those people deserve no sympathy.

They will aimlessly move from badge field to badge field endlessly grazing to raise their gear score. These bads are largely the reason for why the game sucks so much balls today.

I can't thank Blizzard enough for giving me (and forcing me) to have direct contact with these bads. I've got 5 years of anger watching casuals take control of the game and I plan to use every one of the 15-30 minutes I have to make at least one of them feel bad per night.

5 mans used to be the last place you'd find me...or anyone like me, but that's all changed now.

They are nothing more then cattle. Get your branding irons and lets go huntin'.

Sadly, except for one heroic where Sinzar had to help heal as ret cause our priest was bad, I haven't had a bad random heroic; Probably cause they're all so easy now. (Finishing in 10min before the random timer wears off is ...)

He left the instance and went to the argent grounds looking for one and came back. He died during at jousting and left the instance again so he could get anouther gnome costum. Also, my xperl likes being up when Im on a horse *Shrug*

Green drake died 5.2 seconds into the fight.
Amber drake 1 dies to first orb flying at his face and exploding.
Amber drake 2 dies to second orb flying at face.
Amber drake 3... there was no Amber drake 3, he left the group 27 seconds into noticing it was occ.

lol... I love seeing people leave immediately upon zoning into Oculus. It's like they didn't get the memo that it's perhaps the easiest 5-man now, right after Violet Hold and has no RP or other bullshit that paces the instance for you. You're in and out in about 12 minutes tops.

... also there's only one 'c' in 'oculus'. I think it's the shadow labs of WotLK... that is, the most widely misspelled 5-man instance.

So, some dude Halomyr decided to start a ToC 25 man. When we zoned in, we all found out that 3/5 bosses were down. Halomyr then started accusing raid members of being saved, even though a few people told him that it must have been him. He started complaining at other people for ruining his raid, and a few randoms were like "well maybe it's not his id, maybe it's someone elses."

The whole plan was foiled when I pulled up his armory, and mentioned that his news feed said: 8 Victories over the Faction Champions (Trial of the Crusader 25 player). Yesterday

the question is do you have to wait the first 15 minutes. I'm kind of torn on that one. On one hand, with the average heroic lasting less than 15 minutes, its a little late by then, but on the other hand, if someone doesn't make the heroic take longer than 15 minutes, then really, how much can you be bothered by them being there. Plus, if you kick someone after 3 minutes of terrible instead of after 15 minutes of terrible, it really doesn't hurt as much.

1) I've learned I'm an idiot.

2) I've learned it's my job as the tank to protect people from flamestrikes in HoR, preferably by standing in front of them.

3) This pug was particularly helpful, I learned that "mages are as complex as you want them to be without being too complicated", "warlocks have a rotation as long as war and peace", and, most importantly, "tanking is all about using your cooldowns". (Other gems include "I don't have time to teach you this, you should be DPSing" and "WTF brez?" when he was too busy typing and botted in the beams and died)

4) I've learned that I hate nearly every PUG healer (and I should go die in a fire). (For the record, I didn't die when he was falling off the cliff, just noticed I wasn't getting heals (so I actually sped up the group). At the end, we were trying to get him to die and rez us because the end boss in PoS bugged and we needed to die to reset it. He was standing there healing himself for a good minute or two after everyone else died.)
