So technically I'm halfway through this drought of WoW. Finishing up this vacation and coming back on Sunday, then working overtime the rest of the week until next Sunday. But I tell ya, it's something else being in this world where the sun is and the humidity isn't.
We went to Medieval Times a few days ago, which was pretty cool, way too much damn screaming, but I did get a margarita the size of my head. The food was pretty good, and the action was decent considering they were real weapons. But if you haven't gone and you are reading these words, take some headache medication before the show, you'll appreciate it. They keep doing that whole: First cheer means nothing business because the second is louder, blah.
We also just got back from Las Vegas, which was pretty astonishing. I never would have figured that five hotel/casinos could occupy two full days of mine. But the food was awesome, I think the lunch buffet at the MGM fed me for the entire day with one big sitting. We did the Ronn Jucas show (ventriliquist/comedian), went to the M&M shop, shark reef, king tut's tomb and a bunch of other goodness. And I didn't even get a card from the dudes handing out phone numbers of the prostitutes, which I wanted to "Catch them All". Maybe ebay would have a slot for them.
Either way, I miss raiding and you all seem to be moving along quite nicely. As for the shadow resist set, just based off of the materials needed from Wendell's post I will need the hearts and that's it. Maybe a crystal or two, but I'm sure I could just farm for them if the bank isn't that well supplied.
Also, I still haven't heard from Geek Squad about my computer that was supposed to just have a simple motherboard problem. Which was supposed to be as simple as "We'll get you a new motherboard, install it, and give you a call in 3 days". Sure...
