Do housing challenge points reset after a time?

I'm just curious cause I have been trying to farm up some points on Housing challenges but it randomly keeps resetting to zero so I never manage to build up to the full reward. (which is kinda hard with only two challenge stations on my land so far.)


Other places/zones seem to keep their challenge points even after jumping from place to place.
