Default Things that are pissing you off right now

Shit you have to mail back to a company that doesn't come with a return envelope. Doubly so when the correct return address is not easily found.

Edit: I should also note this company sends me an envelope to send my payment in every month...even though I pay online. Yet when they send me forms that have to be filled out and mailed in and can't be done online, they don't.

I agree.

I also hate companies that send me shit in the mail 20 times a month. Especially when they are comapnies I owe money. Can't they just stop sending me the shit, and take $5 off my bill?

This too. I knew it was late when I didn't pay it on time, you don't have to send me a letter about it every 3-5 days.

People that insist on calling and leaving voicemail, complaining I never call them back, even though I told them "Send me email; I don't check voicemail much at all."

So, here at work we instituted a system that eliminates phones entirely. About a year ago now.

I still get calls every day from the same people, telling them that they need to send an email.

This.

Also, "My computer is broke, what did you do to it?" "Why is the network slow?" "What do you mean security audit?" It's been a day of awesome and it's only Monday. Fuck I hate users.

Monday? :P

Another gem that *just* happened to me.

Support Tech A : Hey there, Developer Jorick, I've got this customer who's program is giving them <xyz error>. Usually when this happens, we need to update our license server, but I don't have access. Here's a screenshot of their 45 character license key.

The license key is randomzied garbage (upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, etc).

Developer Jorick : GTFO, go get me something I can copy/paste because I am not sitting here squinting at a 640x480 screenshot trying to decide if something's an uppercase I or a lowercase L.

I wonder if the support techs that work here have a brain.

As a Support Tech, I can assure you, I do have a brain.

However, my life is spent dealing with the lowest scum of the earth capable of operating a PC, and as such, I'm bitter as hell.

Thusly, anything I can do to inconvenience those IT employees that do not directly interface with the End User is high priority.

Only a slightly lesser priority is luring the programmers away from their PCs so I can remote in, turn up the volume and set all of the sounds on their system to "I'M LOOKING AT GAY PORN!"

But the BIGGEST thing I Hate:
I just got a laptop in from a user. The issue? Virus infection and sticky keyboard.
